Hey everyone if you have been on Gnome and noticed wierd graphical issues on the desktop app windows your not alone, it turns out a patch I did to all my software to fix a issue on KDE back in May last year to do with Native Wayland support and flashing windows has come back to cause issues but on Gnome causing weird and horrible window graphical issues on all of my desktop applications, Link
here
Here is 7Plus as a example showing the issue with the KDE launch option which is the cause of graphical bug on Gnome 47, I had to take the picture with my phone because Gnome screenshot didn't know what was going on and would just show a transperant background around the windows instead of showing the graphical issues. I did reply and re-open the issue but I sadly didn't get a reply so I was forced to remove the issue as from what I have seen the workaround for KDE is no longer needed and causing issues elsewhere.
I have applied a patch to all my desktop apps and the AUR package to fix the issue, all affected apps will have a version bump with .aurpatch on the end of it , this is not a official stable release and only applies to the AUR package so you will only find it in the tags on each applications repository. The next stable version will be the same version without .aurpatch on end of it with refresher updaters for recompiled/updated binaries to continue like normal.
